ChatterFlow Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: March 26, 2025
By downloading or using the ChatterFlow app or website (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using the Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
Ownership and Intellectual Property
The Service, including the app, website, trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and all related intellectual property, is owned by ChatterFlow Inc. (“ChatterFlow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). You are prohibited from copying, modifying, or creating derivative versions of the Service or any part thereof, including our trademarks. Attempting to extract the source code, translate the Service into other languages, or otherwise infringe upon our intellectual property rights is strictly forbidden.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, whether as a guest or registered user.
No Investment Advice
DO NOT BASE ANY INVESTMENT DECISIONS ON MATERIALS FOUND ON THIS SERVICE. ChatterFlow is not registered as a securities broker-dealer or investment adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) or any state securities regulatory authority. We are neither licensed nor qualified to provide investment advice. The Service is operated by a group of students who follow industry trends and current events and share personal opinions reflecting our own market perspectives.
The content provided on the Service is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as legal, tax, investment, financial, or other professional advice. Nothing on the Service constitutes a solicitation, recommendation, endorsement, or offer by ChatterFlow or any third-party provider to buy or sell securities or financial instruments in any jurisdiction where such actions would be unlawful. All content is general in nature and does not address the specific circumstances of any individual or entity.
ChatterFlow is not a fiduciary by virtue of your use of the Service. You assume sole responsibility for evaluating the merits and risks of using any information or content before making decisions based on it. By using the Service, you agree not to hold ChatterFlow, its affiliates, or any third-party providers liable for any claims or damages arising from decisions you make based on the Service’s content.
Disclaimer of Warranties
While we strive to provide accurate and timely information from sources we believe to be reliable, the Service may contain inadvertent technical or factual inaccuracies. ChatterFlow does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the materials provided, either expressly or impliedly, and expressly disclaims all warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The Service and its content are provided “as is.”
Service Modifications and Charges
ChatterFlow reserves the right to modify the Service or introduce charges for its use at any time, for any reason. We will not charge you for the Service or its features without clearly communicating the costs involved.
Personal Data and Security
The Service stores and processes personal data you provide to deliver our offerings, as detailed in our Privacy Policy. It is your responsibility to secure your device and access to the Service. We recommend against jailbreaking or rooting your device, as this may expose it to malware, viruses, or other security risks, potentially affecting the Service’s functionality.
Service Limitations and Responsibilities
Certain features of the Service require an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data). ChatterFlow is not responsible for reduced functionality if you lack an internet connection or data allowance. When using the Service outside Wi-Fi areas, your mobile provider’s terms apply, and you may incur data or roaming charges. You accept responsibility for these charges, including if you are not the bill payer for the device, in which case we assume you have permission to use the Service.
ChatterFlow is not responsible for issues arising from your device’s battery life or other usage-related factors. While we aim to keep the Service accurate and up-to-date, we rely on third-party information and accept no liability for any direct or indirect loss resulting from your reliance on such content.
Inactive User Policy
ChatterFlow reserves the right to disable alarms or features for users deemed inactive. An “inactive user” is defined as someone who has not interacted with the Service for three (3) months.
Updates and Termination
The Service is available on iOS, Android, and web platforms. System requirements may change, and updates will be required to continue using the Service. While we strive to maintain compatibility, we do not guarantee that updates will always align with your device’s operating system. You agree to install updates when offered.
We may discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice. Upon termination, (a) all rights and licenses granted under these Terms will end, and (b) you must cease using and, if applicable, delete the Service from your device.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. You are encouraged to review this page regularly for changes, which will be posted here and take effect immediately upon posting.
Third-Party Data and Services
ChatterFlow may incorporate data, content, or services provided by third parties to enhance the functionality of the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the following regarding third-party data and services:
- You may not sell, lease, or redistribute third-party data accessed through the Service unless explicitly permitted by the applicable third-party provider’s terms.
- You may not use third-party data or services for illegal purposes or in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
- All proprietary rights to third-party data and services remain with the respective providers.
- Third-party data and services are provided “as is,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. ChatterFlow and its third-party providers are not liable for any inaccuracies, delays, errors, or damages arising from your use of such data or services.
- You agree to indemnify ChatterFlow and its third-party providers against claims arising from your misuse or noncompliance with these Terms or the third-party provider’s terms.
- Third-party data may reflect limited or specific information and is intended for reference only, not as a sole basis for decision-making.
For specific terms governing third-party data or services, refer to the providers’ respective policies, which may be linked within the Service where applicable.
Fair & Acceptable Use Policy (AUP/FUP)
To ensure reliable service for all users, ChatterFlow establishes usage limits for free and paid tiers. These limits prevent excessive notifications beyond what an individual can reasonably consume. If you exceed these thresholds, we will notify you via the Service. Continued overuse may result in suspended notifications, limited services, or account termination. Paid users exceeding limits may contact us to inquire about refunds or enterprise licenses for higher usage. For such inquiries, please reach out via the contact method provided below.
